![]() ![]() I’ve done several Mage Towers at this point and I have fun learning the encounters and getting good at them, and I feel like that aspect is something that players can share their experiences with others when the spirit of the encounter isn’t so easily violated.Īnywho, if you’re struggling with these fights and you’re a strength-based character, yeah, might as well just get a crusader enchant, lol. I’m not saying Blizzard needs to remove it at this point, I just hope Blizzard is paying attention to how all this goes down, and if they do evergreen content like Mage Tower again in the future (please do by the way, I’m having so much fun with Mage Tower), they consider stat templates. Not only does this trivialize the fights (it felt so anticlimactic roflstomping the fight after getting the enchant), but it makes it so that suddenly there’s an arbitrary bottleneck for this enchant as any sane player who discovers just how strong this is, is obligated to use it (this isn’t “slight optimization” like getting gemmed gear, this is basically punch-card-tier imba and completely accessible off the AH for $$$). ![]() This enchant is not only like a 25% DPS boost, but you can basically never die outside of 1-shot. I was refining and optimizing but as it was basically my 5th alt I decided enough was enough and I was going to see what all the hubb-bubb was about these enchants.ĭecided to finally pull the trigger on getting a crusader enchant and just… lolwut. This Mage Tower challenge for most healer specializations Holy Priest, Holy Paladin, Mistweaver Monk, Restoration Druid, and Restoration Shaman is one of the most challenging and requires you to use your full kit of DPS and utility spells, rather than just healing. I was throwing myself at Ret Pally Mage Tower today, constantly hitting the “hard enrage” and just constantly falling ever-so-slightly short of beating the fight. ![]()
